Job Summary

A company is looking for a Closing Manager to supervise and coordinate all aspects of loan closings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Branch Manager in supervising loan closing associates and ensuring high morale and customer service
  • Verify locks, insurance coverage, and ensure loans close only after underwriting contingencies are cleared
  • Coordinate closings with lenders, escrow, and various stakeholders while maintaining a system to track closing dates
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of funding and/or processing experience, including conventional and government loans
  • Strong computer background with experience in mortgage software and proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of preliminary title report endorsements and potential issues
  • Experience in managing funding volume to meet goals
  • Ability to develop audit systems for loan documents and funding accuracy
