Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collections Specialist to manage healthcare accounts receivable and insurance collections.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform follow-up with payors on outstanding claims, including AHCCCS and commercial insurance accounts
• Investigate and resolve denied or delayed claims to ensure timely reimbursement
• Maintain accurate documentation of collection activities and ensure compliance with payer policies and regulations

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two years of experience in healthcare collections and accounts receivable
• Experience with claims appeals and insurance collections
• Ability to follow payer and governmental requirements
• Knowledge of healthcare billing and reimbursement processes
