Arizona Licensed Collections Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collections Specialist to manage healthcare accounts receivable and insurance collections.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform follow-up with payors regarding outstanding claims, including AHCCCS and commercial insurance accounts
• Investigate and resolve denied or delayed claims to ensure timely reimbursement
• Submit and track insurance appeals as necessary while maintaining accurate documentation of collection activities

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in healthcare collections and reducing accounts receivable
• Experience with claims appeals and healthcare A/R collections
• Ability to follow payer and governmental requirements
• Knowledge of healthcare billing and reimbursement processes
