Arizona Licensed Collections Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collections Specialist who has strong experience in healthcare accounts receivable and insurance collections.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform follow-up and collection activities on outstanding healthcare accounts receivable (A/R)
• Contact insurance companies to resolve claim denials, underpayments, and unpaid claims
• Analyze accounts to identify root causes of payment delays and implement resolution strategies

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum two (2) years of healthcare collections experience
• Proven experience with insurance collections and A/R reduction within a healthcare setting
• Ability to follow payer and governmental requirements as required by the organization
• Experience working with multispecialty medical practices (highly preferred)
