Arizona Licensed Construction Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Construction Controller.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise accounting and administrative staff for assigned business units and prepare monthly financial statements
• Analyze operating results, perform special analysis for strategic decision-making, and manage cash disbursements and collections
• Prepare budgets and forecasts, enforce internal controls, and train accounting staff as required

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or finance required
• CPA/CMA license, active and in good standing, preferred
• At least 10 years of accounting experience required, with 5 years in construction accounting preferred
• Excellent analytical skills with advanced knowledge of Excel required
• Previous experience in a private equity-owned firm is a plus
