Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cytogenetics Analyst to perform chromosome analysis remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform analysis of chromosomes, including imaging and karyotyping of cytogenetic specimens
• Review test requisitions and summarize test results utilizing ISCN nomenclature
• Distinguish between normal and abnormal test results and document corrective actions as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
• 2 years of experience in a Cytogenetics clinical laboratory
• 1 year of experience with cytogenetic analysis of metaphase spreads via computerized images
• 1 year of experience in Oncology cytogenetics
• ASCP certification in Cytogenetics (ASCP CG)
