Job Summary
To support student success in a fully remote environment, the part-time Arizona Licensed DNP Project Chair will instruct graduate courses, engage with students to enhance academic rigor, and oversee clinical/practicum experiences while maintaining current knowledge of nursing practices.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver course content and assessments while ensuring timely availability of materials for students
- Maintain an engaged classroom presence and provide support to students to foster academic growth
- Oversee student clinical/practicum experiences and perform additional duties such as coaching and tutoring as required by the course
Required qualifications
- Doctorate in Nursing (DNP, DNS, PhD) with completion of a dissertation or culminating project
- Active unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of residence or practice
- 3 graduate semester credits in Research Methodology, Evidence-Based Practice, or Quality Improvement
- 1-3 years of experience working directly with DNP students in a mentoring or preceptor capacity
- Recent doctoral level nursing practice experience or project leadership experience within the last 10 years
