Job Summary
To support a growing gamete donor program, the full-time Arizona Licensed Genetic Counselor will evaluate donor medical histories, conduct genetic interviews, and coordinate genetic testing while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Reviews and elicits personal and family medical histories from donor applicants to assess suitability for the donor program
- Communicates with donors and healthcare providers regarding genetic testing results and manages donor medical updates
- Participates in team meetings and contributes to quality improvement projects within the Reproductive Genetics team
Required qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited genetic counseling program
- Board-certified with the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC)
- 3 years of prior experience, including 2 years of professional education and at least 1 year of relevant genetic counseling work experience
- Arizona Genetic Counseling license or ability to obtain one
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, with aptitude for learning new software
