Job Summary
To support a gamete donor program, the full-time Arizona Licensed Genetic Counselor will manage donor screening, evaluate family medical histories, and coordinate genetic testing while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct genetic interviews and assess donor suitability based on medical histories
- Communicate with donors and healthcare providers regarding genetic testing results and inquiries
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement projects within the Reproductive Genetics team
Required qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited genetic counseling program
- Board certification with the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC)
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, including 2 years of professional education and at least 1 year of genetic counseling work
- Arizona genetic counseling license or ability to obtain one
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, with the ability to learn new software as needed
