Job Summary
To support a growing Geohazards and Geotechnical Engineering team, the full-time Arizona Licensed Geotechnical Engineer will manage field programs, assist with subsurface exploration, and perform geotechnical analyses for various infrastructure projects in Tucson, Arizona.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate field programs, ensuring safety compliance and data quality
- Assist with subsurface exploration, including drilling and sampling for geotechnical projects
- Perform geotechnical analyses such as slope stability and foundation design
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geological Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline
- Approximately 3 to 7 years of relevant post-graduate experience in geotechnical or geological engineering
- Working knowledge of soil and rock mechanics and basic geotechnical design concepts
- Experience supporting geotechnical field investigations and preparing engineering calculations
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in both field and office environments
