Arizona Licensed Grants Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Grants Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records for grant-related expenditures in compliance with federal regulations
• Prepare and submit required financial reports to the U.S. Department of Education and other stakeholders
• Implement and monitor internal financial controls to ensure grant compliance and safeguard assets

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 3-5+ years of accounting work experience, preferably in grant accounting in education
• MBA or CPA preferred
• Must possess or obtain valid Arizona Department of Public Safety fingerprint clearance card
• Experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge is preferred
