Job Summary

A company is looking for a Health Information Management (HIM) Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee health information functions and services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Manage staff scheduling, performance measurement, and provide leadership and mentorship for career development
• Monitor documentation compliance within electronic medical records and implement policies to enforce regulatory guidelines

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Three plus years of relevant education/experience in Health Information Management (HIM)
• Demonstrated leadership skills in records management and regulatory requirements
• Partially or fully completed educational requirements towards a degree in health information
• Certification with the American Health Information Management Association is preferred
