Job Summary

Empowering students in a remote environment, the full-time Arizona Licensed Healthcare Instructor will provide high-quality education in online degree programs, focusing on student engagement, timely feedback, and maintaining academic rigor in Health Information Management.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate asynchronous and synchronous online classes, enhancing learning through interactive materials and community building
• Conduct proactive student outreach to support engagement and retention, particularly for at-risk learners
• Provide timely, substantive feedback on assessments and maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance

Required qualifications

• Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, Public Health, or a related field
• Minimum of three years of recent practical experience in Health Information, Coding, Revenue Cycle, or Public Health
• RHIA/RHIT certification is required
• Experience teaching online using a learning management system (LMS), preferably in an accelerated format
• Deep knowledge of CAHIIM accreditation standards and curriculum requirements is highly preferred
