Job Summary

To support patient scheduling needs, the part-time Arizona Licensed Healthcare Scheduler will manage inbound calls, schedule and reschedule appointments, and provide patients with essential information and instructions, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Schedules medical appointments by coordinating with patients, providers, and facilities while adhering to established protocols
• Obtains necessary patient information and documents for authorizations, referrals, and insurance verification
• Communicates effectively with patients and clinical staff to ensure a smooth and empathetic patient experience

Required qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a healthcare setting
• Proficiency in using technology tools for customer interactions and information retrieval
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
