Job Summary

A company is looking for a Health Information Management HIMS Technician.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile, process, and maintain patients' medical records while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Conduct routine releases of health information and analyze electronic medical records for completion and deficiencies
• Provide customer service related to HIMS functions and perform document imaging tasks, including scanning and quality control

Required Qualifications

• One or more years of post-high school education in medical records and information systems, or equivalent experience
• Strong technical skills in software applications and databases
• Knowledge of health information practices and principles
• Ability to effectively communicate and prioritize tasks
• Proficiency in accessing and utilizing electronic health record systems
