Arizona Licensed IT Application Pharmacist

Job Summary

To support a large integrated health system, the full-time Arizona Licensed IT Application Pharmacist will manage the development, deployment, and support of enterprise application software while collaborating with business operations to enhance clinical workflows, all in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Utilizes pharmacy knowledge to troubleshoot end-user issues and enhance workflows for departmental users and stakeholders
• Provides education and support for pharmacy initiatives and participates in quality improvement projects
• Assesses and implements changes to medication-use processes and manages application system standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's in Pharmacy Sciences from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy
• 3 years of healthcare, consulting, or IT-related experience with an understanding of application software deployment
• Registered Pharmacist license from the Arizona Board of Pharmacy
• Certification for assigned application obtained within designated time frame
• Training and/or certification in assigned application
