Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Assistant in an Occupational Health Clinic.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams and treatments by recording vital signs and symptoms
• Assist providers with exams and minor procedures, including phlebotomies and EKGs
• Coordinate patient care including referrals, authorizations, and scheduling of treatments

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
• Graduation from an Accredited Medical Assisting Program
• Current BLS certification required upon hire
• Medical Assistant Certification required within 12 months of hire if not already certified
• Strong computer skills and ability to work with medical software
