Arizona Licensed Medical Assistant

Job Summary

To support a dynamic Customer Navigation Center, the full-time Arizona Licensed Medical Assistant will manage inbound and outbound communications regarding patient care, assist with virtual care activities, and maintain provider schedules while working remotely within variable hours from 8 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Key responsibilities:

• Receives, triages, and responds to inbound requests from various stakeholders regarding patient care
• Assists with virtual care activities, including gathering medical history, medication refills, and patient education
• Maintains provider schedules and prepares patients and charts for telehealth encounters and outpatient registration

Required qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant training program
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of experience in a medical office setting
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA) certification preferred
