Job Summary

To shape the future of nursing education, the full-time Online Didactic Faculty in Medical Surgical will teach undergraduate courses remotely, develop engaging instructional materials, and mentor students while fostering an online learning culture.

Key responsibilities

• Teach online undergraduate courses and create engaging activities to stimulate classroom discussions
• Develop and deliver instruction that incorporates current teaching methodologies and MedSurg trends
• Compile, administer, and grade examinations and assignments while providing mentorship to students

Required qualifications

• Master's degree (MSN) required; Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) preferred
• 2 years of direct MedSurg patient care experience as an RN in a clinical setting
• Active, current, and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in Arizona or a compact state
• Experience teaching in a nursing program and online for a nursing program required
• Evidence of professional involvement, such as membership in organizations, presentations, or publications
