Arizona Licensed Part-time MD

Job Summary

To support a growing telemedicine practice, the part-time Arizona Licensed MD will provide medication abortion care through an online platform, conducting patient evaluations via video or asynchronous appointments, and collaborating with nursing staff for patient support and follow-ups.

Key responsibilities

• Review patients' medical intake responses and determine eligibility for online medication abortion treatment
• Communicate with patients through a HIPAA-compliant messaging app or live video appointments
• Respond to medical inquiries requiring further evaluation and direct nursing staff on referrals and prescriptions

Required qualifications

• Active Board Certification and state licensure (MD, DO) in Arizona or an IMLC member state
• 1+ year experience providing abortion and reproductive healthcare
• No restrictions on ability to be credentialed with Medicaid or other payers
• Willingness to apply for additional state licenses as needed
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse population
