Arizona Licensed Patient Access Representative

Job Summary

To support patient pre-registration for outpatient procedures, the full-time remote Arizona Licensed Patient Access Representative will verify insurance information, create patient estimates, provide financial counseling, and ensure a positive customer experience while managing patient interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Pre-register patients by verifying demographics, insurance eligibility, and creating accurate patient estimates
• Educate patients on their insurance benefits and financial responsibilities, ensuring compliance with No Surprise Billing regulations
• Meet monthly collection targets and prioritize workload to clear patient accounts prior to service dates

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required
• 1-2 years of customer service and/or financial-related work experience
• Proficiency in using PC-based office productivity tools, such as Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Clear understanding of financial counseling's impact on Revenue Cycle operations
• Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
