Job Summary

To support patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, the Per Diem Arizona Licensed Patient Care Coordinator will manage communication with clinical teams and payors, ensuring accurate demographic and insurance information for effective facility and patient bed management while working remotely on an as-needed basis.

Key responsibilities:
  • Support clinical bed management by ensuring timely updates in IT systems for admits, transfers, and discharges
  • Conduct insurance eligibility and benefit verification using web-based tools and phone communication
  • Maintain accurate and complete demographic information entry into the ADT system during patient registration
Required qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 6+ months of experience verifying medical insurance
  • 6+ months of patient access experience in a healthcare setting
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including holidays and weekends
