Job Summary
A company is looking for a Pharmacy Technician.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather information from medical records to process medication refill requests
- Analyze EMR chart notes and laboratory tests for renewal requests
- Notify prescribing providers of any unmet protocol criteria after reviewing medication requests
Required Qualifications and Education
- High School Graduate upon hire
- Must have Arizona pharmacy technician license
- Experience in retail pharmacy
- Preferred: Associate of Arts degree
- Two years of experience in a retail pharmacy or medical/insurance environment is preferred
