Arizona Licensed PMHNP Faculty

Job Summary

To support student success in a virtual environment, the part-time Arizona Licensed PMHNP Faculty will instruct graduate courses in psychotherapy, engage with students to drive academic rigor, and oversee clinical experiences while maintaining a supportive learning atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver course content and assessments, ensuring timely access to materials and fostering student engagement
• Provide additional support through coaching and tutoring, addressing academic issues proactively in accordance with university policies
• Maintain current knowledge of course updates and participate in faculty meetings and events to enhance instructional effectiveness

Required qualifications

• Doctor of Nursing Science, Doctor of Nursing Practice, PhD in Nursing, or a Master's degree in Nursing with 5 years of clinical nursing experience, including 2 years as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
• Active and unrestricted Arizona RN license and Arizona APRN certification
• National Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist
• Demonstrated familiarity with adult education teaching and learning theory
• Must have 2 years of current experience within the last 5 years in a clinical setting using psychotherapy techniques
