Job Summary
To support the education of future mental health professionals, the part-time Arizona Licensed PMHNP Faculty will instruct courses in Psychiatric Management of Children and Adolescents in a fully remote environment, engaging with students to ensure academic success and providing supplemental resources as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver course content and assessments while maintaining high instructional standards and timely availability of materials
- Foster a supportive learning environment by engaging with students and addressing academic issues proactively
- Oversee student clinical experiences and perform additional duties such as coaching and tutoring to enhance student learning
Required qualifications
- Doctorate in Nursing or a Master's degree in Nursing with relevant experience in Psychiatric Management of Children and Adolescents
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing practice experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, with 2 years of current experience
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona or Multistate and Arizona Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification
- National Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist
- Familiarity with adult education teaching and learning theory
