Arizona Licensed RN Denials Director

Job Summary

Leading a team of RN denials management specialists, the full-time Arizona Licensed RN Denials Director will oversee denials management processes, educate team members, and collaborate with internal teams to optimize workflows while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of 10-12 direct reports focused on centralized denials management for multiple facilities
• Oversee the auditing, monitoring, and reporting of denial trends to ensure proper reimbursement and compliance
• Serve as the primary educator for staff and physicians on clinical system criteria and denial management processes

Required qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (R.N.) licensure in the state of practice
• At least 5 years of clinical nursing experience with a strong understanding of reimbursement methodologies
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• A minimum of 1 year of leadership experience with direct reports
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and commercial reimbursement processes
