Arizona Licensed School Counselor

Job Summary

Providing comprehensive academic and social-emotional support, the full-time Arizona Licensed School Counselor will work remotely to assist students and families, monitor progress, and collaborate with educational teams to enhance student engagement and success.

Key responsibilities

• Provide academic, social-emotional, and college/career counseling support to assigned students and families
• Monitor student progress, engagement, and attendance while delivering proactive outreach and interventions
• Collaborate with teachers and school teams to support MTSS processes and remove barriers to learning

Required qualifications

• Valid Arizona School Counselor Certification and relevant counseling experience in K-12 education
• Strong knowledge of comprehensive school counseling practices and student development
• Excellent organization and case management skills in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to build relationships with students and families while providing proactive support
• Comfort using student information systems and learning management systems to guide outreach and interventions
