Job Summary

A company is looking for a Profee Senior Coder Surgical Cardiology.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze medical records and accurately code diagnostic and procedural information according to national guidelines
• Provide quality assurance for medical records and ensure compliance with coding rules and regulations
• Mentor less experienced staff and assist in onboarding new coders

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent specialized training in medical record keeping
• Active certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent
• Five or more years of specialized, complex professional coding experience in clinical specialty areas
• Elevated knowledge of ICD and CPT coding principles
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting while maintaining quality performance outcomes
