Job Summary

A company is looking for a Facility Medical Coder Senior Coder Interventional Radiology.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze medical records and assign appropriate clinical procedure and supply charges according to coding guidelines
• Seek out missing information to create complete records and ensure accurate code assignments
• Provide quality assurance for medical records to ensure compliance with coding regulations and standards

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical degree or equivalent working knowledge
• 4 years of recent coding experience in Facility-based coding of Interventional Radiology procedures
• Must be certified as a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), or Certified Interventional Radiology Cardiovascular Coder (CIRCC)
• Knowledge of ICD and CPT coding principles as recommended by relevant coding associations
• Ability to work effectively with common office software and coding software systems
