A company is looking for a Surgery Scheduler.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule surgical, cardiovascular, or obstetrical procedures using a computerized system
• Enter patient charges, orders, and compile statistical reports for management
• Act as a liaison among department staff, physicians, and patient families

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
• Two years of medical clerical experience, preferably in scheduling
• Knowledge of medical terminology and payor contract terms
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software
• Ability to maintain accurate records and produce reports
