A company is looking for an Underwriting Assistant.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite renewal business with minimal supervision
• Evaluate policies and manage account documentation and servicing requests
• Invoice and process new business and renewal binders according to guidelines

Required Qualifications

• College degree with a concentration in business or equivalent work experience
• One year of wholesale insurance experience
• State specific Insurance License required
• Underwriting Clerk experience or three years of general insurance experience
• Knowledge of commercial multi-line underwriting and rating
