Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Team Assistant I.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and resolve discrepancies in policies, endorsements, audits, and cancellations
Review and process policy servicing requests and manage account documentation
Invoice and process new business and renewal binders according to guidelines

Required Qualifications

One year of wholesale insurance experience
State specific Insurance License
Experience as an underwriting clerk or three years of general insurance experience
Knowledge of commercial multi-line underwriting and rating
Ability to use carrier software and maintain industry knowledge
