Arizona Licensed Utilization Management Pharmacist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pharmacist, Utilization Management (UM).

Key Responsibilities

• Acts as a liaison between the organization and its customers regarding pharmacy benefits
• Ensures compliance with coverage determination and appeals processes
• Monitors drug utilization and collaborates with leadership on quality and cost-control initiatives

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in a pharmacy, Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM), formulary, or managed care setting
• Active and unrestricted Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) in applicable state(s)
• Current knowledge and expertise in clinical pharmacology and disease management
• Proficiency in compiling data, creating reports, and presenting information
• Ability to function independently and manage multiple projects
