Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Arizona Licensed Workers' Comp Adjuster will analyze and adjudicate indemnity claims, ensuring timely payment of benefits while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and managing relationships with stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and investigate indemnity claims to determine compensability decisions by interpreting and applying relevant laws and regulations
- Develop and maintain action plans and reserves for claims while proactively managing them to resolution
- Negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys, and conduct dispute resolution as necessary
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or a related field preferred
- At least 3 years of experience handling workers' compensation claims is required
- Arizona workers' compensation claims management experience is mandatory
- Experience or licensure in additional states (MO, CO, UT, KS, NM, NV, OK, and/or TX) is highly preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of workers' compensation and familiarity with DOI, NCCI, and Department of Labor regulations
