Job Summary
Analyzing and reviewing financial statements, the full-time remote Arkansas CPA Staff Accountant will prepare financial data, assist with audits, and perform advanced accounting functions while ensuring compliance with GAAP.
Key responsibilities
- Analyzes and reviews financial statements for accuracy and compliance
- Prepares journal entries, codes invoices, and performs accounting analysis and reconciliation
- Assists with financial reporting audits and provides coaching to less experienced accountants
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Finance degree must include Intermediate Accounting I & II
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
- Minimum three years of accounting experience or a Master's degree with one year of experience
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
