Job Summary
Conducting all phases of internal audit and control functions, the full-time remote Arkansas Licensed Auditor will evaluate operational efficiency, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance while assisting with audit planning and execution.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in developing the annual audit plan and facilitate external audits while collaborating with leadership and external auditors
- Conduct risk assessments, develop risk-based audit programs, and perform audit fieldwork, including sampling and substantive testing
- Draft comprehensive audit reports and perform non-audit projects such as internal control consulting and fraud investigations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Healthcare Management, or related field, or five years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of three years' professional experience in public accounting, internal auditing, or related fields
- Experience conducting both small-scale and large-scale audits
- Preferred certifications include CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, or CQA
- Proficiency in applying auditing, internal control, and risk management principles
