Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Conduct second-level reviews for medication prior-authorizations and medical necessity reviews
Collaborate with providers and internal staff to determine approval criteria for cases
Implement pharmacy cost containment strategies and support pharmacy initiatives for satisfaction

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college
Current, unrestricted pharmacy license in the relevant state(s)
Minimum of three years' pharmacy practice experience
Preferred three years' experience in managed pharmacy care and drug utilization review
Previous pharmacy technician experience is desirable
