Arkansas Licensed Clinical Pharmacist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Arkansas Licensed Clinical Pharmacist will assist in the development and supervision of drug utilization and prior authorization review programs, while collaborating with medical directors and enterprise personnel to implement pharmacy cost containment strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and supervise drug utilization and prior authorization review programs, including drafting pharmaceutical criteria
• Prepare and present reports on utilization and cost trends for enterprise lines of business and large accounts
• Serve as a liaison to pharmacists and other healthcare providers on pharmacy-related issues, ensuring timely medication access for members

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy
• Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of Arkansas
• Minimum three years of pharmacy practice experience
• Preferred three years of experience in managed pharmacy care and drug utilization review
