Job Summary
A company is looking for a Manager Medicare Pharmacy Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborates with teams to prepare reporting and documentation, and develops quality and cost initiatives for Medicare Part D
- Implements and evaluates quality control opportunities for plan performance improvement in pharmacy practice
- Provides clinical guidance and oversight to Medicare teams and coordinates activities with vendors and cross-disciplinary teams
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or five (5) years' experience in a pharmacy environment
- Minimum seven (7) years' experience in a pharmacy environment or applicable Master's degree with five (5) years' experience
- At least five (5) years' experience dealing with external vendors and end users
- Minimum two (2) years' leadership experience in role, team, or project management
- Knowledge of Medicare Part D and Medicare Advantage benefits preferred
