Arkansas Licensed Nurse Supervisor

Job Summary

Providing leadership and oversight to the utilization management team, the full-time Arkansas Licensed Nurse Supervisor will ensure day-to-day activities align with timelines and quality standards while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor utilization review activities and outcomes, ensuring compliance with established performance standards
• Oversee staff in the referral process and facilitate communication with providers regarding inpatient admissions and outpatient procedures
• Assist in the development and updating of procedures and guidelines, participating in quality improvement programs and special projects

Required qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in a health-related field preferred
• Current active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state(s) where job duties are performed
• Minimum of five years of clinical practice experience or a Master's degree in a related field with a minimum of three years of experience
• Utilization management experience or background in medical economics preferred
• Surgical or critical care nursing background preferred
