Arkansas Licensed Utilization Management Supervisor

Job Summary

Providing leadership and oversight to the utilization management team, the full-time Arkansas Licensed Utilization Management Supervisor will monitor review activities, ensure compliance with quality standards, and manage staffing logistics in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with hospital staff and care coordinators to ensure appropriate levels of care and continuity for members
• Manage staffing logistics, including scheduling, work assignments, and adapting to changing priorities
• Supervise the Utilization Management team, including hiring, coaching, and performance management

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred or five (5) years of clinical experience in lieu of a degree
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse licensure in Arkansas or multistate licensure
• Minimum five (5) years of clinical experience, with at least two (2) years in Utilization Management and Managed Care
• Experience with Government programs such as Medicaid, Medicare, and/or Federal Government Programs
• Familiarity with Milliman or InterQual guidelines preferred
