Job Summary

To support inclusive hiring practices, the organization is seeking an Armed Forces Service Medal Veteran to assist with outreach and recruitment efforts as part of their commitment to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA).

Key responsibilities

• Assist in measuring the effectiveness of outreach and recruitment efforts for protected veterans
• Provide support in compliance with VEVRAA regulations and guidelines
• Engage with veteran communities to promote job opportunities and resources

Required qualifications

• Must be an Armed Forces Service Medal Veteran
• Familiarity with VEVRAA and related veteran employment regulations
• Experience in outreach or recruitment efforts, particularly within veteran communities
• Understanding of the classification of protected veteran categories
• Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance veteran hiring initiatives
