Job Summary
Owning the Army-focused prime contractor channel, the full-time Army Strategic Partnerships Lead will establish and grow partnerships with defense primes, negotiate agreements, and drive enterprise adoption of Cursor's AI code editor within the Army ecosystem, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage relationships with defense prime contractors and negotiate partnership agreements to embed Cursor into their software delivery workflows
- Build demand within Army Software Factories and program offices to enhance the adoption of Cursor as a developer tooling standard
- Own revenue targets and maintain a pipeline of prime contractor partnerships and co-sell opportunities, forecasting with rigor
Required qualifications
- Active Secret clearance or above
- 5+ years of channel sales, business development, or partnership management experience in the defense industrial base, focusing on Army programs
- Established relationships with major Army prime contractors at the BD, program management, or technical leadership level
- Proven track record of expanding channel relationships that generated significant software revenue
- Understanding of the evaluation and deployment processes for software tools within prime contractor development teams
