Art and Production Director

Job Summary

Providing strategic creative direction, the full-time Art and Production Director will oversee the production of high-quality visual communications across print and digital platforms while managing a design team and ensuring alignment with institutional brand standards in a hybrid remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide creative leadership and art direction for all design projects to ensure brand-aligned visual communications
• Supervise and mentor design team members, managing workflows and maintaining quality standards
• Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into effective visual communications

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field preferred; equivalent portfolio-based experience considered
• 8+ years of professional design experience with a progression into creative leadership or production management roles
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) on a Mac-based system
• Strong understanding of print production processes, including file preparation and quality control
• Demonstrated experience managing creative teams and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously
