Art Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Art Director to lead design initiatives for high-end publications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the creative direction and design for key titles, including packaging and interiors
• Manage and mentor staff designers while overseeing the department's workflow and design consistency
• Collaborate with production to ensure complex creative visions are realized within technical specifications

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in book design, with at least 5 years in an art directing role
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or equivalent experience
• Strong conceptual skills and expertise in publication product design
• Advanced knowledge of book manufacturing and special effects
• Proven experience managing and mentoring designers and freelancers
