Job Summary

A company is looking for an Art Director - 2D Illustration to lead the visual direction of their franchise portfolio across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and adapt a wide range of 2D art styles for merchandise, marketing campaigns, and brand collaborations
• Translate show IP into commercially compelling artwork tailored to specific demographics and retail channels
• Lead and mentor a team of artists, ensuring consistency and quality across all external-facing materials

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Art Director or Senior Lead 2D Artist in merchandising, marketing, or licensing environments
• Ability to work across multiple 2D art styles and adapt visual direction based on audience needs
• Strong understanding of demographic targeting and visual styles that resonate with different markets
• Experience directing 2D illustration for commercial products or licensed IP
• Strong portfolio showcasing commercial 2D illustration and marketing assets
