Job Summary

Leading the creative execution of custom and proprietary projects, the full-time salaried Art Director will conceptualize and design high-impact book covers and interiors while managing project workflows and mentoring junior designers, with the flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid model from specific states.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and execute visually engaging designs that align with client visions and sales opportunities
• Manage comprehensive project schedules and facilitate timely approvals from stakeholders
• Mentor junior designers and lead design critiques to foster a collaborative team environment

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in book design or a closely related field
• Proven track record of managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated experience mentoring designers and contributing to team development
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and a deep understanding of print production
