Art Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Art Director for their game studio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and define the visual style for the game, overseeing its implementation on a daily basis
• Provide guidance and mentorship to the art team, ensuring a consistent visual style throughout development
• Collaborate with the Creative Director and external stakeholders to build unique, world-class visuals that enhance the gameplay experience

Required Qualifications:

• Experience as an Art Director or Lead Artist in the games industry for at least 5 years
• Shipped at least one AAA title as an Art Director
• Extensive knowledge and skill in digital art, including modeling, texturing, shaders, and lighting
• Proficiency in 3D and 2D software packages such as Maya, Photoshop, Substance, and ZBrush
• Experience providing critical analysis and feedback of in-game art to balance game design goals with aesthetic and technical targets
