Art Faculty

Job Summary

To support an engaging learning environment, the part-time Art Faculty will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses remotely, interact with students to foster engagement, and serve as a subject matter expert within their discipline.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and facilitate courses while conducting weekly outreach to students and providing timely feedback on assignments
• Host live lectures and participate in classroom activities a minimum of four days per week
• Assist with curriculum maintenance and address academic integrity concerns as needed

Required qualifications

• Possess a terminal degree or master's degree in the teaching discipline or closely related field from an accredited institution
• Have a minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours in the teaching discipline or closely related field if holding a terminal degree in any field
• Demonstrated experience teaching at the college/university level is preferred
• Ability to provide and utilize personal equipment, including a computer and reliable internet access
• Knowledge of academic processes and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Blackboard Learning Management System
