Art Faculty

Job Summary

Providing instruction and support to students, the part-time Art Faculty will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses remotely, engage with students through various communication methods, and contribute to curriculum development and course maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and facilitate undergraduate and/or graduate courses while maintaining student engagement through regular communication and feedback
• Conduct live lectures and participate in classroom activities at least four days a week, primarily during evenings and weekends
• Serve as a subject matter expert for course content, assisting with curriculum reviews and addressing academic integrity issues

Required qualifications

• Possess a terminal degree or master's degree in the teaching discipline or closely related field from an accredited institution
• Have a minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours in the teaching discipline for those with a terminal degree in any field
• Demonstrate experience teaching at the college/university level, preferably in the relevant discipline
• Provide own equipment, including a computer, printer, and secure internet access
• Be available to conduct live lectures during specified evening and weekend hours
